Monotype Imaging has acquired its long-time partner, China Type Design, to accelerate the development and availability of multilingual solutions to help customers serving Asia respond to rapid, localized economic growth. Armed with Asian font expertise and specialized technologies, including new Asian-based enhancements to Monotype Imaging’s iType® font engine and WorldType® Layout Engine, China Type will help lead expansion into Asian markets requiring scalable, multilingual text solutions.
