Ed Platz, custom engineering manager As a technical lead, Ed Platz is responsible for ensuring the portability and compatibility of Monotype Imaging fonts and technologies within Symbian OS and other platforms and products. Prior to joining the company in 2002, Platz worked in the OS group at Tiburon Networks. He has more than 25 years of experience in high-tech engineering and has also held positions at Agfa, Compugraphic and Raytheon. Platz earned his bachelor’s in computer science at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. and his master’s in computer science at Boston University. |
